An automated email is sent to all the players 3 days before the scheduled game, inviting them to visit the website to update their status. League members will visit the site and be able to mark themselves as playing, maybe or out; with a space for a note if explanations are in order. There is also a message board where all members can post comments.
The evening before the game there will be another email sent with information about how many people are expected and a request to all the people who have not logged in to please do so before noon the next day. The person in charge of organizing the game can then quickly find subs for the people who are expected absent.
